Web UI – Specification Designer View

1 – Document Specification Panel

This panel has two tabs:

  • My Specifications
  • Shared Specifications

Shared Specifications tab displays the document specifications shared by all designers. My Specifications tab displays all the documents that the current designer has created or imported. When importing a template designer will be asked to resolve templates and stylesheets. Document specifications are organized into categories.

2-Shared Templates Panel

This panel displays the templates that were previously shared by the template designers. Document Specification Designer can use them if all conflicts can be resolved when adding them to a specification.

3-Shared Stylesheets Panel

This panel displays the stylesheets that were previously shared by the template designers. Document Specification Designer can use them if all conflicts can be resolved when adding them to a specification.

4 – Document Specification Workbench

This panel contains the Execution zone which permits the designer to generate/preview documents previously loaded from My Specifications tab.

5 – Console Panel

This panel displays the execution log (status).

6 – Properties Panel

This panel offers the possibility to edit the properties of the element selected in the Document Specification Workbench.

The modified properties are displayed in red. This will help the user to quickly see what he had modified in the document specification.

In order to save the changes use the Save button. This will update the values from the server with the values from the client.

The Revert button is used to go back to the initial values. This option is useful when the user wants to cancel the modification of the properties.

7 – Results Panel

The panel displays the execution result information (execution time, log, result files).
